Time
This project was a series of long exposures during the daytime, where I would capture the movement of people out in public. The project focuses on the idea of time and how it never stops moving forward. We cannot stop time and because of that, our relationship with ourselves changes. For example, we fear growing old, We think back to our childhood and think how fast that went by. We structure our lives around time, and yet it is entirely made up by us. This idea and thought process are what inspired this series. I also think it is interesting to capture movement in an image, being able to see the traces of their steps printed behind them in a ghostly figure.
